WHO WE ARE

Pointer Motors is the website completely dedicated to stepper motors, where it is possible to find a variety of stepper motors suitable to several instrument clusters.
The first pointer motor, bidirectional, variable reluctance type, was developed for the British Navy in 1933 and used as remote position repeater for a compass and gun pointer direction indicator. The system was later adopted by the US Navy during World War II and quickly replaced other systems because it better suited digital systems.
Nowadays, the pointer motors are very widespread, they are built on all the odometers and allow the proper operation and retention of the needle calibration, and therefore there are different models.
All Pointer Motors’ products are part of Minitools’ range of products, which include a variety of spare parts such as diagnostic adapters, tools to test cars’ electronics directly on workbench, dashboards’ spare parts for different cars’ models, dashboards’ LCD display, replacement flat cable for dashboards and much more.
